These chargers were very sturdy and well made. They were coated card board but you could not tell. I did not feel bad because food was on some, i just disposed of those. I rec'd so any compliments. Very elegant and beautiful. I may buy a set in another color. You wont be disappointed if you buy them. I'm very picky about some things and these passed my test!
