Bring That Irish Cheer with Our St. Patrick’s Day Candy Bar!

|

It’s hard to imagine how time flies: we are less than three weeks away from St. Patrick’s Day! In case you are still at a loss, and you have no idea of how to organize those shamrocks, leprechauns, and pots of gold into a well-designed setup, we are always here to help you out. Since no grandeur celebration is complete without desserts, we’ve assembled this easy candy bar to sparkle your creativity and satiate your aesthetic appetite.

Backdrop

When it comes to buffet stations, all the magic begins with the backdrop. As for our St. Patrick’s dessert station, a white background has turned out to be a good choice. Since we didn’t have a white wall, our foam brick tiles have appeared to be a life-saver – sold in panels with self-adhesive backing, they are easy to install and remove!

Once the foundation has been laid, we’ve attached our giant mint green and white carnations. Though the installation hasn’t taken us longer than a minute, these over-sized blossoms have instantly brought that dash of festive jubilance into our space! It should also be pointed out that though the randomly arranged flowers will make your backdrop look great right off the bat, getting extra creative will never hurt – for example, to add more St. Patrick’s Day spirit into your venue, you can stock up on more multi-sized giant flowers (pom poms and balloons will also do!) and arrange them into a giant shamrock.

Linens

Since our online store is brimming with a breathtaking variety of tablecloths, table skirts, and runners, choosing the matching linens wasn’t that easy. Finally, we’ve decided on the most universal option – a white satin tablecloth, which was further accentuated with an apple green satin runner to go along with the giant paper flowers. And we weren’t disappointed – the look has appeared to be balanced and not overwhelming (as it often happens with theme gatherings). Yet, if you have another vision, go for it – our extensive selection will allow you to bring any ideas to life. For instance, you can try out our green gingham linens and burlap or give a chance to our sparkly hunter green table skirts

Dinnerware

It’s no secret that gold is another signature hue of St. Patrick’s Day. Including gold cake stands is a perfect way to incorporate this shade into your color scheme. Fortunately, our online store offers an extensive array of gold cake stands to choose from – just drop by our selection of stands and toppers to see for yourself and make a choice. Though it’s up to you to decide which stand to pick, we strongly recommend going for polished options, which will emanate that warm, golden sheen all around. To complement the cake stands, we’ve pulled out our gold/white striped paper straws and used the chance to showcase our newly arrived favorites – white round plates with golden rims, which have beautifully complemented those fancy-looking treats. Our stars, apothecary candy jars have topped things off in an elegant manner, making those theme-colored sweets visible to everybody (to tell the truth, you can never get enough of apothecary jars for a dessert station – the more jars you have, the more visually interesting your setup will be!).

Accent Pieces

Some additional accents will always help you achieve a cohesive, picture-perfect look. If you don’t know what to include, please bear in mind that you can never go wrong with candles, which will instantly tie all the colors together, casting those dreamy, dancing shades. We believe that there’s no better excuse than St. Patrick’s Day to use our green stained-glass holders to display candles. Like candles, greenery is always a safe bet – as you can see, a bouquet of eucalyptus and a couple of potted succulents here and there have added that extra St. Paddy’s cheer. On top of that, our heart-shaped confetti, which was then put together into tiny shamrocks and clovers, has definitely reduced our time and energy.

Our Little Trick

Like it or not, treats, not decorations, are the main “heroes” of any dessert table. To this end, you can make your candy work for your color scheme, like we did. Have you got cupcakes with green frosting and colorful sprinkles? Great, let them be the stars of your combo. Are you looking for stylish green glasses? There is no need to go that far – just fill the clear ones with green-colored cocktails. Have fancy bulky candy? Perfect – they will beautifully complement your setup in clear apothecary jars!

As you can see, you don’t have to spend hours assembling a breathtaking St. Patrick’s Day dessert table. All you need is a couple of green, gold, and white accessories and no more than half an hour! So, what do you think about this composition? Is there anything you would like to add or remove? How would you like to decorate your St. Patrick’s party space? Please let us know in the comments – we are eager to learn your opinion!
