Please know that there are 2x Adjustable Width Telescopic Cross Bars 5FT (smallest) to 10FT (longest) and 2x Adjustable Width Telescopic Cross Bars 5ft.(shortest) to 10ft.(longest). If you are going to use only 3 to make it shorter than 10FT, that should work. But we haven’t tried it yet.
