The overlays were beyond my expectations. I previous purchased the black just like this. They are not a disappointment. I really enjoyed decorating with this red.

I wrote an extensive review but wanted to come back with 1 more image that shows the red damask a bit better. I think a few of these goes a longer way than every single table as it's a print, but hoping the visual helps anyone on the fence with the color because I've been there where it's not the same. This one is exactly as pictured and well worth it!

I purchased 3 of these tablecloths as a decorator for a family friend's event. At first we were a little worried the red wouldn't be bright enough but the red is bright (not burgundy but apple red) which is exactly what we wanted. We had an estate table set up and so I knew the cloth (90"x90") wouldn't cover the entire table so I draped it as a diamond shape instead with my custom made centerpieces as part of the table setting. The look was beautiful and matched the red rosette I bought from efavormart and another runner I had perfectly. I ironed the cloth and it held up perfectly to the cotton setting as well (just did that on the side with no print to be safe and to keep the print in tact). The velvet look is very high end and as you can see from the photos, the red is a great choice.
