Are these machine washable?

No, this is not machine washable. To care, gently hand wash, refrain from rubbing the fabric. Gently brush out dried substances. Turn inside out when ironing or steaming. When ironing, move in the direction of the pile. Keep away from direct sunlight to avoid fading.

Are these pretty see-through, or are they pretty dark? We are going to have a light behind them and I want to make sure it doesn’t shine through. And since your return policy is such that if I open it I can’t get my money back that doesn’t work for me

This is made of 180 GSM. This is not a see-through as this is also made of velvet fabric. However, if you are going to place a light behind that is too bright, we could say that this will show what’s behind. But, you can adjust the lightning for not to see what’s behind.
