Add a Festive Cheer to your Front Door with a Christmas Wreath

With the arrival of Christmas and the holiday season, your house is filled to the brim with magic and cheer. While it’s easy to just think about how you’re going to outfit your indoor spaces, it’s just as important to consider your home’s exterior. After all, who doesn’t love the idea of making a good first impression! Along with greenery garlands on your holiday mantel, the Christmas tree glistening in your living room, and Christmas lights strewn all around your front porch, show off your festive spirit to neighbors and dinner guests with a Christmas wreath.

A stylish and chic Christmas wreath may be one of the most quintessential Christmas decorations you can have to enhance your entrance. While the mere thought of spending precious time creating a DIY wreath may seem nearly impossible, we have gathered some easy-to-make craft ideas for you to prove otherwise. Whichever DIY Christmas wreath inspires you the most, remember to have fun and personalize it in accordance with the rest of your Christmas décor.

Choose succulents of varying colors, styles, and sizes from Efavormart to add interest and texture to your wreath. Crafted from high-grade flexible plastic, they are replicas of living plants and since they are independent of water or soils, they are much easier to work with.

  • Begin inserting your assorted succulents in the preserved moss wreath.
  • Arrange them in a manner that no space is left empty. Even if you’re somehow unable to fill in the gaps, the preserved moss on the wreath will help in covering any space in between, making your wreath look as spectacular as possible.
  • Once the entire wreath is covered with succulents, it is ready to be displayed on the front porch or even indoors on the mantle to bring a touch of freshness into the ambiance.

Instructions

  • Since our peonies and iris flowers come with long stems, firstly, cut off the excess stems with leaves still on. The shorter the stems, the easier it will be to work with them.
  • Once the flowers are ready, start inserting them on the twig wreath. Begin with the peonies and apply a dab of hot glue onto a stem to secure it in between the twigs.
  • As soon as you are done with the peonies, arrange our silk iris flowers on either side of your peonies and glue them just as you did for the peonies.
  • Next, you’ll need to cut some individual stems from our faux eucalyptus and place them on either side of your floral arrangement. Glue each stem to the twig wreath to secure them in place and you’re done! The half-exposed twig wreath will look exceptionally beautiful while complementing your rustic style décor perfectly.

Instructions

  • As our wisteria vine garland is quite long in length, you’ll need to cut it according to the requirement of your hoop.
  • Once you have cut the garland, wrap it around half of your metal hoop and secure it in place by applying dabs of glue beneath the garland’s stems. Arrange it in a way that two wisteria flowers come adjacent to each other creating a central focal point for your floral arrangement.
  • Cut flower heads from the peach silk rose bushes and glue them on your wisteria garland and the metal hoop in the form of a bunch just beside the wisteria flowers.
  • The next step involves cutting a single flower from our rose gold peony flower bushes and attaching it to the hoop and garland in between the roses and wisterias as shown in the image. This step completes your elegant Christmas wreath to be adorned beautifully on the front door, mantle, or on the wall as an alluring decoration piece.

  • Wrap the entire foam wreath with our greenery garland and cut off any excess with the help of scissors. Secure the garland tightly around the wreath with a glue gun.
  • Insert leaves and foliage all around the wreath to make it even more luscious and attractive. A glue gun can be used to fix the leaves appropriately on the garland.
  • Once all the greenery is in place, glue some pine cones uniformly on the wreath.
  • Next, tie two or three cinnamon sticks together with a string and glue them on the wreath in between each of the pine cones.
  • Use a skewer or nail to poke holes in the dried citrus slices and thread two or three slices together with twine or string. Then glue these slices all over your wreath randomly.
  • Lastly, insert some fresh red berries in the greenery garland or if they aren’t readily available, you can use our burgundy beaded wire stems for a similar effect. This Christmas wreath is now ready to be placed on your door directly on a hook or with the help of a ribbon tied around the wreath.

As you can see, it doesn’t require a lot of skill or effort to create your own Christmas wreath.
